TOWER BRIDGE ROAD

SINGLE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 29TH

Recorded at the award-winning KORE Studios in West London (Amy Winehouse, Florence and the Machine, Catfish and the Bottlemen), Tower Bridge Road is the first single off Rob Harbour’s debut EP The Lighthouse

Written shortly following Rob’s move to London, Tower Bridge Road is a “Hey There Delilah” style confessional/ narrative ballad full of iconic London imagery and romance, instantly transporting the listener straight into the heart of a pensive, nostalgic moment in a bustling city.

The song features fellow ICMP alumni Barnabas Chappell and Gabor Sandor on Bass and Drums respectively as well as fellow Maltese singer Berne and cellist Zhu Hui Wang. A music video to promote the single was also shot at KORE studios by the talented Jason Henwood.

“Some songs are in black and white, and some songs are in colour…this song is definitely in colour...” Nicky Chinn (The Ballroom Blitz, Living Next Door to Alice).

The Lighthouse EP Cover

The Lighthouse is the debut EP by Rob Harbour, released on the 13th of October 2016

Recorded at Resident Studios (with the exception of Tower Bridge Road), the EP was created with an organic and raw aesthetic in mind. In order to accomplish this goal, the songs were recorded the old-fashioned way with the whole band playing live in the studio with minimal overdubs.

With Ian Hansen brilliantly engineering throughout, the EP features themes such as love and longing (Tower Bridge Road), the absurd futility yet essential need for hope (Hope), dreams of living by the sea (The Lighthouse) and those special moments that make you feel alive (One of These Days). The EP was mixed by David Vella at Temple Studios, with the exception of Tower Bridge Road (Ian Hansen) and mastered by Pete Maher.

The Lighthouse is available on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify and all major online retailers.
